I’ve been thinking about KingofPain all day (if you don’t know why–go read his blog and leave him some love). He was my Santa last year, during JS’s Secret Santa. That was a great idea that was a lot of fun, but the site crashed JUST as people were starting to receive their gifts.
KoP was the BEST Santa ever. He set up a fake page called “EFsSanta” or whatever, and surprised me with videos of some of my favorite bands all the time. I had no idea HE was my Santa–I thought for sure it was Luna. When my gift arrived, it was a beautifully wrapped package from an exclusive childrens’ boutique, and inside, two precious baby gowns for our son. How cool is that??
I packed one of the gowns to take to the hospital, and Brad was wearing it in his first official portrait, taken when he was about twelve hours old.
So anyway–the SecretSanta thing. Everyone want to do it this year??? Obviously we have plenty of time to plan, but I will volunteer to organize it unless someone else is dying to do it. I know who I want to be my recipient already, too. 
Lots of prayers for KoP today, y’all. His family is gonna need em. In fact, they are probably on their way to the doctor right now.

All you people who stand outside in the rain, snow, sleet, sun, and baking temps just so you can maybe be on television for three seconds are sad enough, but the ones who hold up signs saying “I love so-and-so” or “Imadouchebag.org” really need to put as much thought into your SIGN as you do where to stand so that the camera gets you.
Friendly piece of advice: yellow magic marker does NOT show up well on blue posterboard.
Just sayin.
